IEEE Student Paper Contest
The IEEE Student Paper Contest is coming back from a short break. We are grateful to have XXX as our sponsor. This competition is held for all bachelor's and master's degree students of the technical faculty at TU Graz. The aim is to provide the students an opportunity to write their first scientific article and hand it in for the competition. All students who have not started a doctorate study at the time of the deadline are eligible to participate.
Guidelines of the competition
Im ersten Schritt ist eine Kurzfassung in der Länge von einer halben Seite (DIN A4-Format) einzureichen, in der die Arbeit kurz und prägnant beschrieben wird. Zusätzlich kann ein Bild oder eine Graphik zur Visualisierung der beschriebenen Aufgabenstellung verwendet werden. Verwenden Sie für die Kurzfassung die folgende Vorlage (Vorlage Kurzfassung) Schicken Sie Ihre Kurzfassung als pdf-Dokument bis zum xx.xx.2014 an ieee(at)tugraz.at mit dem Betreff "Kurzfassung für Student Paper Contest 2014".
Nach dem Ablauf der Einreichfrist für die Kurzfassungen werden diese bewertet, anschließend erhalten alle Autoren eine Rückmeldung. Autoren von akzeptierten Beiträgen erhalten gegebenenfalls Verbesserungsvorschläge.

After the deadline has passed, all the papers will be evaluated. The authors of the best papers will be notified and invited to hold a short presentation of 10 minutes at the Award Ceremony. This will take place on Wednesday, 20.06.2012 at the Johannes Kepler University in the Siemens VAI lecture hall.

However, it is not restricted to only these topics. Contributions from other technical areas are also welcome!

Itinerary of the Award Ceremony: The opening of the Award Ceremony will be held by the IEEE SB Graz. The authors of the best papers will present their work with a short summary (10 minutes). Afterwards, everyone is invited to a buffet.
