IEEE Student Branch Graz

Our Student Branch became reactived in 1997. We are grateful to have Professor Michael Muhr as our student branch counselor who has been there since the very beginning.

Each term we’ve had different chairmen who widened up our scope of experience and shaped our student branch: Manfred Sampl, Bernd Bodner, Thomas Berg and Michael Tieber (current chairman).

We consist of undergraduate and graduate students who enjoy taking over responsibility and organizing social and academic activities. Our activities include: regular get-togethers of engineers (“Stammtisch”), excursions to companies, LaTeX Tutorials, Student Paper Contests, IEEEXtreme, Köpfe und Karriere etc.
